Wolf repair in Edgewater
Edgewater is not a Denver neighbourhood at all: it is a small city of its own on the Jefferson County side of Sheridan Boulevard, and it shares the western end of this run with the lake it was named after.
Edgewater addresses are worked as part of the western lobe of this sector, and the whole bench travels there: dual fuel ranges, built-in ovens, convection steam ovens and warming drawers. Give Wolf Pro Repair Denver the model and serial off the plate on (720) 649-6641, and the likely band can be named while you are still on the call.

Across the boulevard
Sheridan Boulevard runs the length of the park’s western edge, and stepping over it puts you in a different municipality: Edgewater is a home-rule city in Jefferson County, with Denver wrapped around its eastern side. The water that gave the city its name now lies wholly on the Denver side of that line, which is why an address here can be a two-minute walk from the lake and still not be in the same town as it.
None of that changes a repair. An Edgewater kitchen and a kitchen at the west end of the water are one stop apart on the map, and what gets loaded for one is what gets loaded for the other.
The half that gets called in first
Dual fuel ranges over here tend to announce themselves through the cooktop. The pattern is a burner clicking away far longer than it should, then catching with a soft thump — and what sits behind it is far more often a burner cap seated wrong, a head that never dried out after a boil-over, or the module that sparks all of them, than anything in the oven below.
The electric half arrives later and more quietly. A cavity drifting off the number on the dial, or a convection fan that has begun to sing on the climb to temperature, turns up as a separate call in its own season — and each of those carries a band of its own.

Oven quit while the cooktop carried on, in a kitchen you cannot turn around in. A thermal fuse and a scorched wire at the terminal block. He worked off the back porch to keep the mess out.

Flame would not come down low enough to melt chocolate. He set the bypass screws for our elevation, one burner at a time. Even from high to low now.

Our insert kept cutting out after ten minutes of frying. The motor was overheating behind filters nobody had ever washed properly. He stripped and cleaned it, showed me how the baffles come apart, and left the liner better than it has been in years.
