A pan boiled over and afterwards the right-hand pair of elements did nothing at all. Liquid had got into the terminal block and corroded it. He cut the burnt wiring back and fitted a new one.

Oven quit while the cooktop carried on, in a kitchen you cannot turn around in. A thermal fuse and a scorched wire at the terminal block. He worked off the back porch to keep the mess out.

The charbroiler lit and then died back to nothing within a minute. A blocked orifice and a lazy thermocouple, both replaced. Four stars because I had to chase the callback.
